Adult fellowship and service strengthen our faith in God and our bonds with each other. That’s why Northmont has a number of social groups for a wide range of interests and ages, including singles and couples.
There are so many ways for the women of Northmont Church to enjoy fellowship together by answering God’s call to provide service to others. As they become involved they grow as individuals and grow the community of women.
Presbyterian Women at Northmont is a group very active in the life and mission of the Congregation. They serve the Congregation by sponsoring a committee to provide after-funeral receptions for Congregants and their families. They make and delivering care baskets to home-bound members. They sponsor two church-wide offerings annually. And they sponsor a long-running annual Flea Market and Bake Sale to raise money for mission causes.
On a more social note, the Presbyterian Women enjoy many social events throughout the year such as “Lunch Bunch,” a monthly visit to a place of interest and for lunch and fellowship at an area restaurant, they host a book review group, and they host seasonal luncheons and social events that also raise money for missions.

Dinner for Eight
Groups of eight randomly assigned singles and couple meet four times a year in individual members’ homes for dinner.
Women who enjoy knitting and crocheting meet each Wednesday at 9:30 AM to make items for the benefit of those in need. Items include lap robes for patients in local hospitals and nursing homes, blankets for local homeless shelters, caps for babies in local hospitals, and sweaters, hats, gloves, and scarves for our partner church in Malawi.
